Mt Baker Ski Area is usually open by mid November. Wow, that is only two weeks away!!!!

With the bugs gone and sunshine expected this weekend the hiking should be exceptional.
Hiking I have done recently: none of these hikes need Artist Point to be open to hike them, Hannegan Peak, Yellow Aster Butte, Skyline Divide and Excelsior Ridge, Heliotrope.
Thing to do: biking, hiking and kayaking.
Breakfast is not served in Glacier unless you stay at a bed and breakfast.
The Glacier Ranger Station is now closed.
Now is the perfect time to get ready for skiing and snowboarding and at Mt Baker Bed and Breakfast you can get all the information you'll need to have a great stay in our little piece of the world. Come ski the mountain with the world record annual snowfall of 1'140". But if you want go white water kayaking we have that information too.
Baker Ski Area average annual snow fall 617", more than any other ski area in North America.
Cell phones do not work between the town of Kendal and the ski area. Last gas is at the Shell station in Maple Falls and the last cash machine is in Glacier at Grahams.
Mt Baker Ski Area has the world record for snowfall in a one year period 1140".
